It depends on if you like Animals or not  . I just went there for all the shows (Lion King, Pocahontas, Tarzan) and to take a picture of that huge tree with all the animal carvings on it. I spent a grand total of 4 hours there *shrugs*
It's Tough to Be a Bug - Parts of this show scare me crapless. Maybe it's just cause I'm not a 3-d movie fan. But the queue is really cool - it winds around the base of the Tree of Life.
That scared my parents crapless
My parents are still mad about part of that show *won't say which part so as not to spoil the show for anyone*.

Pocahontas - God-awful and should never have been made!
My sister owes me 30 minutes of life because I had to sit through this show
If I wanna see a raccoon go across a log, I'll sit on my back deck at home in WA, thanks.

It's not awful, but it's not great either. IMHO, it's not a full-day park like the others are, and this is coming from an animal nut.
Here's my thoughts on some of the major attractions.
Festival of the Lion King - pretty good show! They have great versions of the TLK songs, and some great performances.
Tarzan Rocks - awesome show! Very high-energy, and I love the stunt work.
Pocahontas - God-awful and should never have been made!
Kilimanjaro Safaris - Cool, but it seems like you only get passing glances at the animals.
Wings of the World (the bird show) - or whatever WDW calls it. Bottom line, I wasn't impressed... probably because it's the EXACT SAME show we had here at SeaWorld in the past. It was contracted out... SeaWorld let the contract expire, WDW picked it up.
Dinosaur - Meh. Funny how they could take the exact same ride system that we use for Indiana Jones here at DL, and turn it into an unimpressive ride. It's loud, I'll give them that...
It's Tough to Be a Bug - Parts of this show scare me crapless. Maybe it's just cause I'm not a 3-d movie fan. But the queue is really cool - it winds around the base of the Tree of Life.
Pangani Forest Exploration Trail - Good animal exhibit! Well-designed enclosures, and it's usually pretty easy to find the animals, unlike many zoos.
Maharajah Jungle Trek - Very impressive! The tiger exhibit is AWESOME.
Kali River Rapids - Cool, but short. The plot seems to be lost about 10 seconds into the ride, though. *headdesk*

I like it.
I haven't done many of the shows, but I love Kali River Rapids, Kilimajaro Safaris, Primevial Whirl. . . I know I'm forgetting some stuff.

Post subject: Animal Kingdom
What about the Animal Kingdom at Disneyworld? Everyone I ask says either it's awesome or its terrible.
What do you think?
