Or can you imagine Aladdin sacrifice Jasmine to save the world? He would try to find an alternative, or sacrifice himself. <br /> <br />Throughout the series, there were always aspects I liked about Spike, and stuff I didn't like. For example, in the fourth season, he was a cool smart-ass and hilarious, but still too evil, IMO. Then he was the love-sick puppy, but I liked how he took care of Dawn. When he slept with Buffy, he was too arrogant. I think I liked him the most in season seven, when he had given up on Buffy and helped the gang not only to impress her. But then again, he wasn't the smart-ass he used to be anymore. Of course, I never really liked Dawn.
