In fact, the internet petition IMHO was a waste. Farscape fans actually went out an held events to gain support for the show... and then went and found financial backers for the miniseries <span style="font-style: italic">on their own</span>. Once the miniseries was set, the fans then went and produced their own television commercials for the miniseries, and actually bought airtime for said commercials on major cable networks.
