That almost sounds like the one from "Wishes" at Disney World. I doubt it though. They did a medley of Aladdin songs, and it was in the middle of the show. Plus, I don't think there was any music to it. Does Disneyland have music from the firework shows?
I know it's not Wishes, cause I have that one. Just listened to it yesterday, actually. Preeetty! I only wish they'd debuted it before I left.
The Aladdin segment in that one is cute, though. "Weeeeeeee've got some wishes to grant!"
Yup, Disneyland usually has their own fireworks themes. The old show that just ended last May (and arguably the most moving Disney fireworks show ever) was "Believe... There's Magic in the Stars." The guy who designed that display is the same guy who designed Wishes. But that had a gorgeous theme song, and the whole thing was released on the Disneyland Official Album that's out for sale now. I made it a point to go to the last ever showing of "Believe" and I bawled at the end.
The problem with this one is that it's basically just a short-term replacement show that they decided to run this summer in place of "Believe" to cut costs until they debut the new fireworks show next summer. And since it's temporary, the likelihood of an official CD release of "Imagine" is nil.
And since it's a replacement show, they didn't take the time to write a completely new track - it was a lot of cutting and pasting from other songs. The introduction is from the old WDW "Fantasy in the Sky" introduction, then it goes into "Fantasy" that's basically the WDW "Share a Dream Come True Parade" theme. Then the big Disney medley, then the show stop from Share a Dream Come True parade, and the end is the old AWNW/When You Wish Upon a Star finale from "Fantasy in the Sky." Lots of cut and paste.
I think the Disney medley is the only segment of the show that I don't have on CD anywhere.

Post subject: AWNW Music question
The new fireworks show at Disneyland ("Disney's Imagine... A Fantasy in the Sky") has a segment in the middle that's a medley of Disney songs, and the end of that medley is "A Whole New World." It sounds to me like a remix of Brad Kane and Lea Salonga's version, but I absolutely love the way this one was redone. Well, a large portion of this particular fireworks show recycles music (mainly from Walt Disney World) and so I started hoping maybe this version was out there somewhere. It's a long shot, but I thought I'd ask. I made a live recording of it awhile back. The quality isn't great, cause I made this mp3 from my video of the show. I was wondering if anyone had heard this version before, or if it's commercially available somewhere??
