Yeah, see while I get that people do this stuff I'm an obsessed person when it comes to these things. That and I'm a full blown believer |

Well like I said. You guys did a good job with re creating that stuff, but then again. How do you explain stuff like shadow people, things moving on they're own, full manifestations (which is rare anyways) and EVP's. People will always try to fake photos and such of these things. I've seen it done but that doesn't mean thee isn't something there |
And I'm not saying something isn't there - I certainly believe in the possibility that something is there. Like Janette said, we were simply showing how easy it is to get a false positive. |

Janette, 'vortex' is a term often applied to the supposed 'spectral trail.' I've been sticking to 'trail' to avoid confusion. |

Indeed. This page has a write-up on how false-positive orb photos can be made: http://www.prairieghosts.com/trouble.html
Now, I have seen a few photos where the orbs in question are completely opaque, and other than gluing yogurt lids to the walls (which is extremely absurd), I've yet to think up a way to imitate 'em easily. |

No, it's our way of saying "It's really easy to get a false positive." It mainly came about because - especially where 'ghost photos' are concerned - Syera and I are horrible cynics. A lot of people will take a picture without realizing that there is a string present in front of the lens, and since the flash tends to reflect off the strings, it makes it glow. And since ghost photos make such prizes, and a lot of people honestly don't know any better, the ol' string-in-front-of-the-lens ends up touted as 'ghost photography' quite often.
We didn't fake any vortexes, though. Just some sweet spectral energies. And boy, was the glowing shadow-leaving line hard to recreate. |

Understandable. Catching a real orb is hard because dust and other things are everywhere so it makes it hard to do. |

No; I'm just saying that the orb I encountered at the vortex probably isn't real. Some ghost-photo sites flat-out refuse to even consider 'orbs' taken by digital cameras and/or 'orbs' that resemble semi-transparent cells. |

I noticed on your main page you have this thing on Orbs and such being caught in camera photos. I have to say you did a good job of recreating fake orbs and vortexes and whatever. However are you trying to say that all orbs and whatnot are fake? Honestly, orbs don't exactly indicate a haunting either. They can sometimes be energy as well, which is everywhere |

I recall a hotel and casino near some sand dunes. We just drove by when we were around that area. Maybe that was it. |

Toward the North end of Florence, there's a Fred Meyer. Behind it are HUGE SAND DUNES! It looks so weird. |

The Fred Meyer?
It doesn't ring a bell. |

Florence, Oregon? Did you see the Fred Meyer? That one always gets me. |

Cool. I went to Florence about two summers ago to visit my grandparents. Lovely beaches and a great place to see wildlife, especially seals and sea lions. |
