It was a way of telling children the battle between good and evil and the consequences that these characters faced. It's some kind of a form of melodrama because you know who's bad and know who's good. <br /> It gave a lesson to learn from. Some ppl say it's way to make kids behave by telling them these stories.In cinderella, we all know that she married royalty but we don't know the prices that the stepmom paid for being so mean.
