Sultan Pasta al-Dente obviously led a hostile takeover and Agrabah is now an extension of Getzistan. It seems that Pasta also has the Cave of Wonders working for him, because that's just chillin' open in the background. I'm imagining it to be like a theme park attraction. "Come, touch the treasure and try to survive the lava attack! Your stay is free if you make it out alive!"
"semi-respectable"
No one could ever really understand the presence of that brothel/grape stand in the back of the casino

Hmmm. Iago likes casinos, Iago's seen the Cave of Wonders... perhaps he and Cassim have set up a nice, semi-respectable business on the outskirts of town?

I like to think that this is what happens to the economy when Aladdin takes over the throne
My #1 confusion is Jafar just shaking his fist VHS-cover-style in the courtyard.

Right? Did Jasmine say "make yourself at home" and this was the result?

omg I was trying to figure out who conquered Agrabah to upgrade the city like this. I forgot all about them
And yeah, like how did no one see or hear the Cave of Wonders at night if it's right there? Can you imagine Jafar trying to sneak back in at night after paying it a visit that first time? "So, uh, were you been, buddy?"

What the heck did Genie do to Agrabah? Relocate it to Las Vegas or something? How did they get the conditions to grow half this greenery? Is it because of that random river that's next to the city now? What happened to the palace? I have so many questions
