This today is the 13th of the month, and it takes place on Friday, I've decided to make a thread about these much loved and much cherished series of slasher films. I've only seen the first and third installments. I skipped over Part 2 and went straight to part 3 because that was the first in the series where Jason wears the hockey mask, which has become an iconic symbol of slasher films and horror films in general. I also find Part 3 very entertaining and it is already making me want to check out the rest of the series. I hear Part 4:The Final Chapter, and Part V:A New Beginning are also good.
I've never seen Cube, but I agree with you Meesh. I don't mind if there's bloody moments in a movie, it's just when the film relies solely on the blood as a horror tactic, then I'm not interested.

I'm with Fez_Head. Psychological horror ftw. Some gore is fine though. Like I enjoyed Cube.

Honestly, I'm not a big horror fan, especially ones that are just full of blood and gore like these. Whenever I watch those kinds of movies, I care so little for the characters that I end up siding with the villain to kill them all. Personally, I prefer psychological horror films, the ones that make you think more than be squicked out by excessive amounts of blood.
