Zitagirl - OP was a bot, but I deleted their link at the off chance it was harmful and moved the post to this area of the board because I didn't want to delete everything you typed.

Uhm, which game you are talking about? With the Disney IP there are 3 bigger games that I would put under the typical gacha game:
-Disney Heroes Battle Mode, which I actually think quite decent and managable in terms of grinding. It does have the issue of way too many currency shops, but the modes are fine and even a 1 star unit is already strong with the right amount of leveling, though it definitely takes time because of how expensive it is.
- Mirrorverse: I love the designs and the concept, but man... it's way too grindy and really not shy about wanting to get you to spend money. And sadly.... the gameplay just doesn't hold up well.
-Sorcerer's Arena: so this is a weird one and honestly could not get me on it more than a few days whenever I retried it. Gameplay-wise it's fine and I think with time you can actually collect chars and upgrade them too. I think my main issue with it is the same as it was with Galaxy of Heroes: way too many currencies while the actual time to really get chars is super slow, let alone upgrading them.
And where have you been lol? We have had the dupe system since at least the 5th anniversary and honestly the whole dupe system in BBS is more of a collector thingie than actually necessary in terms of PvE. Literally most of the units that you can get now are good for any of the regular contents as a 1/5 already with a linkslot lv 10 and even if they have a bit of problem, additional linkslot levelling to get 2 more skills on them, along with maybe getting 1 dupe for the max crit chance is already enough.
The only places where I think max trans units really matter is the guild quest hard mode (you do need to actually invest in specific chars to really clear that on a regular basis, but it's quite worth), brave battle but honestly you only really need to get up to 3rd seat if you really want to do that extreme co-op we have each month (which really is only useful for the editing brushes, but with all the changes even that is getting easier to farm outside of extreme co-op). Everywhere else is just there to make your life easier (like in epic raid) and to show off your shiny unit with the the lv number showing with a nice purple color haha.
What I would suggest ya atm is simply just do the point events, clear story modes, missions, etc. Since you are a returning player you probably have thousands of orbs to collect, and that's not even include all the premium units you can get via brave soul tickets and a good chunk of them netting you 200 orbs each due to resurrections.
Let me know if you need any help in it or suggestions or maybe even what unbit you should focus on. Have been playing for almost 7 years now and have a pretty good knowledge about the game and the changes that we got recently.

Is the game still very grindy? I mostly quit that game due to that and with Brave Souls adding the dupe system (finally) I rather not play more games that requires tons of grinding. It will already take a hella lot of time just to get my core team set.
