^^YES SECONDHAND. I actually have been really good at buying secondhand when I can too, especially for the environment. That being said, I'm seeing a genie bathing pin for fairly cheap on ebay and poshmark!
The pin is from ebay! Also I found out Disney and maybe WB too are PRESSURE boycotts which means it's ok in moderation!

I already didn't use or haven't recently bought anything from 95% of the companies that we're supposed to be boycotting so I'm doing fine

Yeah, as the saying goes "there is no ethical consumption under capitalism" and while - if you can afford to - we should make more conscientious choices about the products we buy and know where our money goes, at the end of the day all you can do is your best. It gets a bit insidious that the bulk of the work is placed at the feet of the consumer to "do better" when the entire capitalist market is controlled by approximately thirty companies who also own your alternatives to McDonald's or Disney or Google, so that money STILL ends up going to the same place. I'm not saying it's hopeless or that boycotting doesn't work (it does!), but there's so many more moving parts involved in effective, lasting change in conjunction with boycotting (particularly in this situation) that I feel like a harsher kind of pressure needs to be placed on these companies to really look at what they stand for in the same way consumers are doing now so that when (if?) this gets resolved they don't go back to giving their money out to causes their consumers don't support because they'd be too afraid to do so.

I want the elusive bathing Genie pin but I'm worried to get it since Disney is anti palestine... so is WB, which is for comfort. I also wish I could try the Wcdonalds sauce since I'm a weeb but I can't... I hope things go back to normal soon.
Buy the pin through a third-party source like ebay or someone who already purchased it so you're not using your money. Same with the sauce. If someone else you know gets McDonald's, ask them to get the sauce so you can try it.

I will take this down if not allowed.
