Mmm... John Travolta...
Personally, I tend to think of Prince Eric as looking more like Kirk Douglas. |

Well, it's nowhere as weird as the Esmerelda mug being listed as Aladdin.
If you think about it from the perspective of a person who maybe just casually watches Disney movies, the mix-up is easily understandable. Especially since they made Eric's skin too dark. |
Oh, YEAH! That mug was funny.
Well the doll looks a little like Aladdin except his eyes are blue. That doll doesn't look like Eric at all, but its definitely not Aladdin. |
It the disney Park version of their The Little Mermaid Wedding Set. When I saw it. I thought he looks like a very young version of John Travolta. |

You and I know Aladdin doesn't have blue eyes, but someone who saw the movie maybe once, twice, or not at all (and only knows the characters through online research he/she may not have done) probably wouldn't really know the difference.
There's no 'tricking' here - it's just a mistake. |

Since when does Aladdin have blue eyes? I suppose that there really must be poor people who actually believe that is Aladdin and buy all that. That's just wrong, to trick them. |

Ah, this shot?
He does look a tad darker there, but I think that's an aberration - and he's still nowhere near dark as Aladdin. |

Find the shot where Ariel's in his arms after she got legs. |

He's not that dark. Ariel, I'd say, is ultra-fair, while Eric is just fair.

See? Not as dark as Aladdin. |

Eric skin is dark. When he found Ariel on the beach after she transformed into a human. She fell into his arms. Eric's skin dark. and Ariel's super light. |
