And I think their popularity was pretty close. A few hours before the results show, I saw a poll online (of course it's not a scientifically accurate one) and it had Mario with 51% of votes and Emmitt with 49%.
It'll be interesting to see who Cheryl is paired with next season. I'd love to see one of the other dancers get the chance to win. |

| Hopefully, Mario and Karina don't ask for a rematch, like John O'Hurley did in the first season. They were evenly matched with Emmitt and Cheryl, who won last season. It all came down popularity. |
