Whoa... Janette got that, too! I need to remember to look through it. I took a quick look-see before it was wrapped, and it looked pretty spiffy.

a variety of teas from my little sister (the Lemon Green tea is my favorite so far) and a new tea kettle from my aunt (my favorite gift of the bunch)...

Mmm... tea... I'm partial to Earl Grey, myself... Very Happy

Okay... now that I think I'm done squibbling over my mother's reaction to the green glass bell, I'll draw up my list of... loot. Or whatever you call it.

Edgar Allen Poe - Selected Works
A pair of tweezers with a built-in white LED flashlight
A white LED flashlight
An incense burner
Stick incense
Wool boot socks
A book of photography of my native state (no no no - nature photography; not me sitting at the computer!)

Hair clips
A black sweater
A pair of black gloves

A poster featuring a kitten in a tutu

I love those books! I was looking through the Pirateology one in a bookstore a little while back, and there's this section on the different outfits of certain Pirate groups - like chinese, caribbean etc. And the picture for the Caribbean pirate was almost exactly what our beloved Captain Jake Sparrow wears in PoTC! I thought that was pretty cool. Razz

Wow, that artwork is brilliant! I love the way Genie is drawn, he looks exactly the way he did in the first movie.

The only things worth interest I got for Christmas were Phoenix Wright 2 for Nintendo DS and three Disney DVDs (Lady and the Tramp, The Little Mermaid and Hercules).

Yeah, you need sims 2 to play sims open for buisness and any other expansion packs that go to sims 2.

Cool. Cool But since it's an expansion pack, would I need to purchase something else to play the actual game? Confused I've never bought a Sims game before.

I have Open For Business, and I found that expansion pack very enjoyable. A resident goth-boy selling flowers from a home-business is quite amusing, actually. Very Happy

And on the subject of what we all got for Christmas... I got my mother a green Fenton art glass bell. Her reaction was so worth it. Very Happy

I'm lovin' that fanart! Laughing

Let's see...I got a Baby Bratz Triplets. Laughing I'm not taking it out of the box. Hopefully, it'll be worth some money one day Wink I'm not a big Bratz fan (I just don't think you should put fishnet stockings and ruby red lipstick on a baby doll) but the babies are kinda cute with their big heads Smile

a Spongebob pillow

Perfume

Clothes

Brother Bear DVD (w00t!)

I've got some comments from other people that asked me if my mom still thinks I'm a kid with the presents that I got. Laughing

I also got cash that I'm planning to spend on a computer game. Has anyone ever played Sims: Open For Business? If so, how was it? Is it worth buying?

I just love the looks on Al and Jas's faces in that pic; they're so confused. Laughing

Uh, let's see... the only things related to Aladdin that I got were Gargoyles Season 2 volume 1 and The Thief of Baghdad DVDs. So expect a long post sometime soon about how much our fandom ripped of Thief of Baghdad. Laughing

I got a Disney Villains snowglobe with Dragon Maleficent, Hades, Cruella, the Queen and Jafar! Yeah, that was pretty much the only really cool thing I got...and yeah, I've already seen the holiday Aladdin picture. Poor Jafar, I want to rescue him.
