I figured. For me, it really depends on my mood - sometimes I look at him and want to kiss him and such and other times I just want him to wrap me up in his arms and hold me tightly. |

Aww, that's like me. And tbh, most self shippers don't disregard their love's canon love - it's more like there's also an AU where you're their love. So if you want to ship with Aladdin, you can. |
Yeah, same with me, no matter how much I like a female character, I won’t disregard their love or a shipping of theirs I like such as a male character who is in love with them. |

Well, I may not be in love with Genie (that status might belong to a different character I really like for years now), but it didn't take me too much time to realize I look up to Genie as a father-figure. Probably also the reason I just adore his more caring, kind side than his usual funny side as most do.
How I actually realised this though.... not exactly happy. |

Well, to each their own. Also I can't tell if seeing the musical is what made me fall in love with Genie or whether I always was and that's just what made me finally admit it. |
