I love recess. I think I have a coloring book and a Gretchen figure around here somewhere. TJ is my favorite. I don't know why, but I have this thing with my favorite character wearing a red hat; Alvin, Max, TJ, Bart whenever he wears one, etc.
It's a cool show. The folks that produce the show use to work on Hey Arnold (my other obsession), so I see a lot of the show in Recess. Even the characters are somewhat like the ones on HA! And as a matter a fact. King Bob's voice over (Toran Caudell) was Arnold's first season voice over. After his voice got to deep to play the part, he started playing Wolfgang (which is odd since he bullies Arnold around). AND, Upside Down girl, Swinger girl and I think Ashely B. (the one in yellow) is voiced by Francesca Marie Smith, who is Helga. AND Justin Shenkarow who voices Gelman is Harold.
Yes that paragraph just proved I have no life, but I love my cartoons. |

...Max, as in... Mighty Max?
Yes, I love Recess. That show is so original. I remember when KidsWB started airing that one show "Detention" and I was like "HAHA, they're trying to mooch of Recess' fame." *cough*
What I like about Recess is how it crunches society into one little playground. You can see every type of person on the playground if you look hard enough... you might even see yourself. *coughs*
I've always wondered, though, if King Bob's rule ever clashes with Ms. Finster's. After all, they're both the "high and mighty" authority on the playground -- has he ever gotten "in trouble" during his reign as King? _________________

I remember liking Recess, but I only really watched the first few eps.
I used to be the Swinger Girl back in elementary school... |

lol, whenever I wasn't serving recess detention for something I did (Those teachers were out to get me- I swear!), I was Four Square Girl. That's the only game I played. I never understood tetherball. |

Aaaaaah, tetherball... the memories!! I used to play nothing but tetherball. It was so addicting. My parents even ended up buying a tetherball for our backyard. _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. I've only watched Recess a few times, and sometimes catch some of it when I got to tape Lilo and Stitch. What I've seen isn't bad. _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

Call me Ashley, because I was an Ashley in Elementary School. (Even though we weren't called Ashley- -actually the leaders name was Ashley!) _________________ ~Kamara Vitoni Quiego~ |

Oh, yeah! That reminds me! Strangely enough, there are four Ashleys in my class: Ashley H, Ashley J, Ashley M, and Ashley P. It is really weird.
...well, okay, Ashley M moved, but we still have three left! Too much like Recess... _________________ ...shining...shimmering...splendid... |

When I was in elementary school, they weren't Ashleys. They were Jessicas and Lindseys. _________________ "If only I could believe you. Perhaps I can! After all... you do bear the name of a flower." -- Arbutus |

For the good part of my life, I was Gus, because my Dad was active duty in the Air Force.

I was DEFINITELY a Gus. I'm in college now, and this would make my 11th school I believe. My dad is just now deciding to retire. *pounds fists in the air*
But I was a mix between all the characters, oddly enough. |
