I'm just curious...if Agrabah was actually real, where would the city be located? I'm guessing somewhere in Persia, since there is a slight Indian influence in a general Arab landscape.

I'm still sticking with my answer of that Turkey/Syria/Iran area. |

Hmm...I wonder why no one has mentioned Maghreb North Africa yet. Marrakech could be another possibility. The city is located in a relatively dry area, with sand-colored buildings and streets. They even had Viziers back in medieval times (although they called their leaders Caliph instead of Sultan).
I may be feeling a bit ambitious, but I might even add Mauretania to the list. _________________ A whole new world. Every turn a surprise. With new horizons to pursue. Every moment red-letter. I'll chase them anywhere. There's time to spare. Let me share this whole new world with you.

I think because the series hints at people coming from the Northern regions of Africa to be "far away" kingdoms, but I don't know what "far away" is to them when they have a ye old airplane |

Oh ok. I really haven't finished the series yet, so I wouldn't know.
Do you think, then, Quirkistan would be located in Sudan? _________________ A whole new world. Every turn a surprise. With new horizons to pursue. Every moment red-letter. I'll chase them anywhere. There's time to spare. Let me share this whole new world with you.

It's possible, especially given they're part of the seven deserts. |

I've heard Agrabah would be located in Iraq, Iran/Persia, Saudi Arabia or Morocco. |

Basically the territories of other nations. No one knows the desert names, but we know the kingdoms contained there

Yeah, originally it was set in Baghdad and there's a lot of Iranian influence in the design. |

Not...that I remember? The closest we've come to that area is the far east on a trade route stop. |

Thanks for answering my question.
I just haven't been watching much of the episodes lately. That's it! I'm watching Plunder the Sea! _________________ A whole new world. Every turn a surprise. With new horizons to pursue. I haven't seen them in a while myself. I keep hoping they'll put them on DVD, but that doesn't seem to be in the plans for Disney |

On those princess DVDs there's a few episodes, but the entire series? No. |
