After watching a 'ghost' video the other day where something supposedly flew through a wall, it struck me that the effect could easily be recreated with a few household items.
So, being curious, I decided to see if I could do this myself. I think it turned out pretty good.

Pretty good job recreating things, though here's one I think even you will have a problem with debunking, not even proffesionals could debunk it
This was taken at the Easter State penitentiary by TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society). It looks like somethings running to the camera then decides to leave
Things to keep in mind:
-During the time this was caught, everyone was eating dinner.
-Most of the TAPS members during the investigation had personal experiences and two even got freaked out by something that moved past them fast "Dude, Run!!".
-Both Jason and Grant were in the area later in the day and were seeing shadows on the upper level in the same area the figure was caught
- They tried to debunk this by recreating it. They tried to recreat this by putting a cloak over one of the TAPS members but with the darkness he could barley see and move much less charg foward at a fast pace at the camera and make a quick getaway
-it's "head" doesn't really seem to be moving up and down like ours would when running
note also it doesn't really look like the figure is actually turning around, it more looks like it just flipps and heads back _________________

Hm, interesting footage.
It wouldn't have to turn around if it were a piece of cloth hanging over a form which was attached to a rod, pushed forward, and pulled back... _________________

You forget where this was, the area it was caught in was extreamly small, also honestly it would be too hard to set up and take down without being caught on the infa red camera. That and if you look closey, imo I see what looks like an actual foot moving, but it's impossible to tun 180 degees THAT fast _________________

So far I've constructed a form with a cloth over it that can be taken just about anywhere. There's no fancy setup, since it's held and manipulated by someone standing behind it. _________________

what the frig? you went and re constructed the damn thing?...okay whatever, but you do realize that no one was away from the group, they are instructed to go in groups of two or more and during the time this was taken everyone was eating. And no, just because it's a tv show doesn't mean it isn't all just written in script and a big setup, TAPS has ben around before it got picked up by sci-fi doing exactly what they did before hand. Only they couldn't go off too far then because of money issues _________________

Yep she did, and I ran the camera while she operated the sucker. _________________ *

AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN, UNTIL WE'RE BOTH DEAD!
Ahem. Yep. That's pretty much how I feel about the process. _________________ *

I honestly don't think it's worth all the trouble, the vid taken was sent to a professional. NO ONE could figure it out, so TAPS decided to just put it on the web and let people decide for their own since theres always somone who's gonna look for every possible way to say it's not real _________________

Well... nowhere in the definition of 'professional' are the words 'really good at it.'
Maybe it's not worth the trouble to you, but I'm an artistic, analytical type who enjoys challenges and problem-solving. Trying to recreate an effect is like... hm, I don't know how to describe it. 'Really fun' comes to mind. _________________
