I just saw on the news that last night at Disneyland, the Aladdin float in the A Christmas Fantasy parade hit four people, sending one to the hospital. It sounds like everyone's okay, but not without bumps and bruises. The news article is here: http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/news/122804_nwAP_disney_accident.html
Here's a pic of the float:

Ouch.
Doesn't look good for Disney in the PR department. _________________

The past year has not been good to them at all in the theme park safety PR department. Three crashes at DL's Big Thunder within a year, the death at WDW's Magic Kingdom during the Share a Dream Come True Parade, and now this. _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. *Shudders*
Thankfully, everyone is alright. Geez, and I thought Aladdin was only damaging to my social life. _________________

The funny thing with the Big Thunder accidents... after the first one, I said "Oh, well after all that, now it's gonna be the safest ride in the park." And less than two weeks later, it crashed again. So I said, "Oh, come on, lightning won't strike three times." Apparently it does. After all that, though, it's still one of my favorite rides in the park, although I admit that I cringe when I enter that tunnel... _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. I am so going to hell for saying this, but that is the funniest thing I've read all week. _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. Today was the last day of the Christmas parade, and I was at the park. The float is still in the parade, but Genie drives WAY more slowly than before, and doesn't go anywhere near the audience. _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are.
