This October, Namco's classic arcade space shooter Galaxian will turn 40 years old. Galaxian, released one year before Pac-Man, is widely regarded as Namco's first major hit outside Japan. And a month later, a british company called Numskull will be releasing a playable quarter scale replica Galaxian arcade machine, as well as one for it's successor, Galaga, which is arguably more popular.
