Early fifties. My favorite guess is fifty-two. _________________ |

I'm a really bad judge of ages; late forties, early fifties? Maybe?
What do you think for the other characters (except for ones we know, like Jasmine and Aladdin)? |

You have no idea how often I've wondered how old Iago is. That's hard to tell since, once parrots have reached an adult age (which I guess happens pretty early, like it does with many animals), you can't tell the age anymore till they are really old, I would think. So, he could be only a few years, let's say 5 as an example, or her could be older, like 30.
I like to think he's about 10, so he is still pretty young, but has lived with Jafar for a long time, which would explain why he was so evil in the first movie. _________________

I think Jafar is 60-60ish, the sultan is 40ish (since he was still sorta old yet young looking when he took that flower from Arbutis 20 years ago and had Jasmine when he was in his mid-twenties). Genie I think is like 40-50,000ish |

I believe Jafar is around 49
The sultan has to be around 60... he just looks good for his age.
Genie: Well... he's eternal...
Abu: Wow, he's probably around 7 years old
Iago: I'd say around 20 years old.
Rajah: If you go by the books, he's around 11-15 years old.
Carpet: Lord only knows
Cassim: Well, I'm going to say he's around 36... give or take a few years.
Jasmine: Well, we all know that she was 16 in the first movie, so I'm guessing by the time she was married she was around 18.
Aladdin: When we first meet him he's 17 *we think* so he's probably 19 by the time we get married. That is how I got Cassim's age. I figured that Cassim was probably 17 when Aladdin was born... so just add 17 years to Aladdin's age in KOT. **Isn't there an episode where it does say exactly how old Aladdin is... or at least hints to his age? I thought I heard it once, but I don't remember...**
Well... that's all I can think of now. _________________ MysticMeg's Stories on THE LIBRARY OF AGRABAH!!!

He said he lived on the streets for 17 years. Depending upon if you think that means from birth to the movie, or from when his mother died till the movie gives you how old you think he is.
Personally, I keep him and Scott around the same age just because, so I think he was talking from birth up and then when he said "I lived on these streets for 17 years" he was about 18-19 depending upon when you think the episode takes place in the series itself. |

Who knows how old Iago is, parrots live up to 100, so i don't know, i'll say he's 30-40? |

He says he's 17 in "The Prophet Motive".
I have everyone being a bit young, with Cassim/Rasoul/Sa'luk all hitting late 30s, early 40s.
I think Iago is about 18ish.
Jafar- About 54-55
Sultan- 48 to 50 _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

100, eh? That would explain his constant visions of impending doom |

I don't know really. I guess just the feeling you get through out the sequels and series. I figured that the Sultan appointed his own Royal Vizier... and I just... I don't know, I just always thought that Jafar was younger than the sultan. I know that I don't have anything to back it up... but there's nothing to prove Jafar's older than the Sultan either. It's all based on opinion pretty much because nothing is put in black and white. _________________ MysticMeg's Stories on THE LIBRARY OF AGRABAH!!!

Oh, that's true. I was just wondering.
I just like the idea of having Jafar be there for a very long time, perhaps even being associated to Sultan's father (not necessicarily as Grand Vizier, but just an advisor of sorts). _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |
