While on the subject of songs, what is your favorite song is available in the demos but never made it to the final film?

My favorite is "Count on Me". I love the melody. Very upbeat and hopeful.

I must be a big push over fan because I love them all, lol.

I love POYB. When I first heard the song two years ago, I had a similar picture in mind of the lyric "Water flows under the bridge, let it pass let it go." I thought that was rather scary when I actually saw the storyboard for it and it was pretty close. It's a very touching song

I like the melody to COM as well. I think it would have slowed the film down a little, but still very cute. "And we'll have adventures, diamonds and pearls. We'll rescue damsels, did I mention girls?" lol

I LOVE HTB. I laugh everytime he questions Genie about what he used for Ali's parade. I can see a big broadway type production once he gets to the line "Now let it rain!" I wish they would have kept this song.

I love WM as well. It has some funny lyrics. That rub a dub dub line is hysterical. Just seeing Jonathon do some of the lines of it in the DVD made me want to see the song even more. "You forget who wears the pants around here now!"

I'm a Count on Me fan. I dunno why, I just think it's a pretty song. Smile

My two favorite cut songs, High Adventure and How Quick They Forget, didn't make the poll. Wink Of those, probably Proud of Your Boy, because I kind of empathize with it. Confused Second would be Why Me, because it's got all that Jafar character development stuff, talking about his past and his motives. Cool

What she said....

Anyway... Humiliate the Boy. Though before the DVD, I always listened to it as though it was areally dramatic moment, versus a comedy one. Confused

POYB is right up there, though. It's just so lovely. The demo still reigns over any other version I've heard of it. I actually used this song at one point in my story development to empathize with an OC (not intended- I just happened to put it on and realize that it clicked). *Dies over the pretty*

Proud Of Your Boy is defentily the best cut song from Aladdin! I understand that it would have not worked but it was still very touching.

Hahaha! And the look on Abu's face in the storyboard picture is funny.

My most favorite cut song is "Proud of Your Boy." I think it's very sweet and relatable. "Humiliate the Boy" freaked me out at first when Jafar started yelling.
